Overview

Supply and delivery of a Type II Water System with a 60L tank for the Chemistry Department at MUT. This is a RFQ for a lab-grade water purification system, with no briefing session, open to qualified vendors of laboratory water systems, including installation, warranty and after‑sales support.

Requirements

• Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN and MUT vendor/CIPC registration
• Manufacturer’s Authorization Letter if not OEM; Minimum 12-month warranty (parts and labour); confirm after‑sales support
• Bidder disclosures and compliance with MUT RFQ terms; price delivered as a package (no separate pricing) and 90‑day validity
• Completion of RFQ forms; CSD/BBBEE documentation (non‑mandatory returnables); lead time to be stated in pricing
• Payment terms: 30 days in arrears upon receipt of valid invoice; no advance payments
• Compliance with two‑stage evaluation: eligibility/mandatory documents, then price and preference

• Documents to submit: RFQ documents completed and signed; MUT vendor/CIPC registration; SARS Tax Compliance PIN; product brochure/picture; Manufacturer’s authorization (if not OEM); warranty and after‑sale support confirmations; pricing schedule (firm prices, 90‑day validity); CSD BBBEE (optional but may be used for points).
