Overview

Supply and delivery of gaskets, pressure seals, O'Rings, packing and related commodities for outages at Duvha Power Station. Eskom invites bids from suppliers with gasket/seal manufacturing or distribution experience, QA/SHEQ capability, and capacity to meet local-content and certification requirements for outage spares. Submissions are electronic; closing date is 5 November 2026 (10:00); tender validity is 180 days. (see Invitation to Tender ITT Gaskets R2.pdf)

Requirements

• Eligibility: comply with Eskom Conditions of Tender; open tender; not sanction-restricted; no conflict of interest; joint ventures liable; no 100% subcontracting; not on Tender Defaulters list.
• Pre-qualifications: proof of CSD registration; tax clearance; submit mandatory SBDs; Supplier Integrity Pact; E-tendering training acknowledgement; CIDB where applicable.
• Technical: data sheets for gasket types (e.g., C4324, graphite, spiral wound, pressure seal, packing); conformance to EN 13555/ASME B16.20/B16.21/API 601/DIN 2690; material certificates EN 10204 3.1/2.2; ISO 3834-2 welding cert for spiral wound; minimum 60% local manufacture; up to 40% imported; cataloguing per item.
• Local content: minimum 60% local manufacture; Local Content Declaration forms attached (Annex-c, Annex-d, Annex-e).
• Contractual: NEC3 SSC; pricing and evaluation rules (VAT, arithmetical corrections, NPV, etc.); basic compliance with SBDs and integrity provisions; risk and SHEQ considerations.
