Overview

Supply and delivery of various heavy plant and specialised equipment for a period of 36 months (as and when required). Suitable bidders are OEMs or accredited agents capable of supplying heavy plant and equipment, must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and on the eThekwini supplier database, and must comply with the contract, pricing, and safety requirements. Requirements

• Must be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or accredited agent; if an accredited agent, provide OEM accreditation letter.
• Registration on the National Treasury CSD (provide MAAA number) and on the eThekwini supplier database (PR number).
• Tax compliance: provide Tax Clearance or Tax Compliance Status PIN; VAT status if applicable.
• Complete and submit all Returnable Documents: Authority of Signatory; MBD 4, MBD 5 (if > R10m), MBD 6.1, MBD 8, MBD 9; Official Tender Form.
• Occupational Health and Safety: sign the 37.2 OHS agreement and implement required Health and Safety plans and risk assessments.
• Municipal fees declaration and any debt arrangements must be current; declare any relationships with state officials; sign all relevant declarations.
• OEM or accredited distributor requirement: if not the manufacturer, provide a valid agency/JV arrangement covering the contract period.
• Delivery to specified points; price and delivery terms as per Section 2/8; ensure forward exchange, if relevant, is handled per Section 12.
• Evaluation will use price with 80/20 (or 90/10 depending on thresholds) plus specific goals; compliance with SCT requirements is mandatory to avoid disqualification.

How to Apply
