Overview

The procurement is for the supply and delivery of various stock items for the Bergrivier Municipal Stores for the period 1 July 2027 to 30 June 2030. Open to qualified suppliers capable of stocking and delivering a broad range of stock items to a municipal store, who meet local VAT, tax, and B-BBEE requirements.

Requirements

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration and CSD number or Proof of TCS PIN.
• Tax Compliance Status (TCS) or PIN submission; SARS e-filing may be used.
• VAT registration details if contract value exceeds R1,000,000 and pricing is VAT inclusive.
• Original or certified copies of B-BBEE Certificate or B-BBEE Sworn Affidavit; 0 points if not submitted.
• Complete and sign required MBD forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9, MBD10) plus Pricing Schedule and Form of Offer.
• Attendance at compulsory site briefing/session; late arrivals may be disqualified.
• Bids must be submitted on official forms, in black ink, and not via fax/email; 120-day bid validity.
• Preference points under PPPFA 80/20 (price vs. specific goals and BBBEE) and CSD/VAT/Tax compliance checks apply.
• Bidders must be prepared to sign a Service Level Agreement (SLA) if awarded and to comply with GCC/GCC-based terms.
• Provisions for VAT, tax, and municipal debt that could affect bid validity or award are included in the general conditions.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 27 October 2026 at 12:00. Bids to be deposited in the Bergrivier Municipal Stores tender box (Bergrivier Municipal Offices, 13 Kerk Street, Piketberg). Mailed or faxed bids will not be accepted.
• Submission method: sealed bids in the tender box; in-person delivery preferred; no personal deliveries to officials.
• Documents to complete and submit (official forms): MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9, MBD10, Pricing Schedule, and Form of Offer. Ensure all required attachments (ID copies, company resolutions, etc.) are included.
• Required registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD registration; Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN; VAT registration (if applicable).
