Overview

Supply and Delivery of Water chemicals and consumables to SAAO (NRF). The NRF invites quotations from suppliers of water treatment chemicals and related consumables, with brand/model details, new/off-the-shelf items and warranty >6 months. Items include filter media (Siliphos, activated carbon, silica sand), chlorine, CTO water filters, and pool floaters. Delivery is to SAAO, 1 Observatory Road, Observatory, Cape Town.

Requirements

• Administrative and technical compliance: returnable documents must be completed (SBD forms), with SBD 3.1 pricing schedule; CIDB not applicable.
• Pricing: firm prices; VAT inclusive; offer valid 60 days from closing date; separate pricing per delivery point if applicable.
• Certifications and registrations: valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (EME/QSE); CSD registration required; tax compliance considerations as applicable.
• Specifications: items must be new, off-the-shelf, conform to local quality requirements; specify brand name and model; warranty >6 months.
• Evaluation criteria: 80/20 preference (price vs. BBBEE goals); specific BBBEE goals possible points; adherence to PPPFA/GCC where applicable.
• Delivery and terms: lead time ASAP from PO date; payment 30 days after receipt of invoice; no prepayment.
