Supply and Installation as plant ash pipelines for the period of 24 months

Overview

The supply and installation of Ash plant pipelines for 24 months. Eskom invites eligible construction/engineering contractors to bid, provided they meet Eskom’s eligibility criteria, are registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), and are not restricted from doing business with Eskom or state-owned entities.

Consider bidding if you have industrial pipeline experience (ash handling), NEC3 contract familiarity, and can meet CSD and eligibility requirements. Documents are available from 01 October 2026 (see Tender documents (1 file).zip).

Requirements

• Meet Eskom eligibility criteria; must not be restricted from doing business with Eskom or state entities; comply with sanctions checks.
• Register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide your CSD number.
• Do not submit more than one tender; avoid conflicts of interest.
• Submit a complete tender via Eskom’s e-tendering portal with commercial, financial, and technical information; upload the original tender.
• Provide required returnables in PDF (and price list in PDF plus Excel); no hard copies.
• Complete annexed SBD and Local Content/PPPFA returnables (e.g., SBD 1, SBD 6.1, SBD 4, local content declarations).
• Tender evaluation includes basic compliance, functionality (threshold 70%), price (90/10 or 80/20 with BBBEE), and contractual obligations (SHEQ, SD&L, 60 days payment term).
• CIDB requirements are indicated as not applicable for this tender.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 15 December 2026 at 10:00; late tenders not accepted. Submissions are electronic via the Eskom E-tendering site (etendering.eskom.co.za). If resubmitting, latest version prevails.
• Intermediate steps: Clarifications due per Eskom rules (seek before 5 working days before closing). Clarification/briefing meeting is non-mandatory.
• Briefing/clarification: 21 October 2026, 10:30–12:30, via MS Teams (confirm attendee details with Eskom Representative). (See ITT documents.)
• Documents to complete and submit: all mandatory returnables (SBD forms and Annexures A–J), including local content and integrity declarations; the Pricing Schedule (PDF) and a copy in Excel; E-tendering help forms as applicable.
• Required registrations: CSD registration is mandatory.
