Overview

RFQ to supply and install 120 Cat6 network points at NRWDI Midrand Building, including testing, certification, and handover. Suitable bidders are ICT/network installation firms with LAN cabling, testing/certification capability, and ability to produce as-built documentation; they must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), hold tax clearance, and provide BBBEE documentation.

Requirements

• Quote fully in line with the price structure and scope of work; valid at closing; price-stated (excl VAT) and total price included.
• Minimum of two verifiable reference letters from previous network cabling/install projects (on client letterheads with contact details and sign-off).
• ID copies of owners/directors as per registration documents (e.g., CIPC/CSD/BBBEE).
• Indicate ISO 9001:2015 status in the submission (if applicable).
• BBBEE certificate or affidavit; proof of CSD registration; tax clearance status.
• Complete all SBD forms (SBD 4 and SBD 6.1) and submit with quotation; ensure submission to the correct procurement email.
• Mandatory at RFQ closing: fully compliant quote; timely submission; evidence for references; tax compliance; not listed in restricted/tender defaulters registers.
• Delivery and site work: installation, testing, labeling, documentation, and handover as detailed in the Scope (Appendices A and B).
• Evaluation uses 80/20 preference with 20 points for specific goals (ownership by Black people and women); required proof documents for claimed goals.
