Overview

Supply and installation of a log boom (debris retainer system) at the intake of the KPONG Dam for the Volta River Authority in Ghana, financed by the EIB. Open to firms and individuals worldwide; suitable for civil-engineering, water-infrastructure and installation works with capacity to handle bank-financed procurement.

Requirements

• Open procedure; - Eligible participants: firms and individuals from all countries; - Non-refundable tender document fee: USD 100; - Tender documents obtainable by written request on company letterhead or via sesd@vra.com (see (Download the notice)); - Payment proof required; - Authorized signature with a power of attorney; - Tender: original plus three copies, in sealed outer envelope; - Language: English; - Tender validity: until 05/05/2027; - Submission deadline: 06/11/2026 13:00 GMT to Conference Room, VRA Akuse; - Site visit: 06–08 Oct 2026; Pre-tender meeting: 08 Oct 2026 (attendance details in notice); - Award criteria: price is not the only criterion (details in procurement documents).

How to Apply

• Obtain tender documents by written request (company letterhead) or email, and pay the non-refundable USD 100 fee (bank details provided in the notice) or send a scanned bank slip to sesd@vra.com (see (Download the notice)).
• Prepare and submit: one original + three copies, in sealed outer envelope, marked with project details and “Do Not Open Before” the tender deadline.
• Submit to: The Conference Room, Engineering Services Building, 4th Floor, Volta River Authority, Akuse, Ghana, by 06/11/2026 13:00 GMT.
• Include: signed power of attorney, proof of payment, and documents to demonstrate eligibility and technical capability.

• Site visit and pre-tender meeting details: 6–8 Oct 2026 site walk; 8 Oct 2026 pre-tender meeting at VRA Akuse (MS Teams option available).
