SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF A TEMPERATURE RESPONSE TEST RIGClosed

Overview

The SABS invites a supplier to supply and install a temperature response test rig, including design, manufacture, installation, commissioning and validation (RFQ 202074). This is open to service providers with capabilities in laboratory test rigs, temperature/pressure control, data acquisition and calibration (SANAS).

Requirements

• Proven ability to design, manufacture, supply, install, commission and validate the full system (not components only).
• Compliance with SABS terms, confidentiality, and NDA obligations.
• Submit with quotation: National Treasury CSD registration report; BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; SBD 4 Bid Disclosure; SBD 6.1 Preferential Points form; Non-Disclosure Agreement.
• Technical specs: Pt100 RTD sensors (Class A or better), 0–100°C, ±0.2°C accuracy, 0.1°C resolution, traceable calibration certificates; central data acquisition system; calibration certificates on commissioning.
• System capabilities: safety-valve temperature response test; heating 1.5–3.0 °C/min and cooling 1.5–3.0 °C/min; inlet pressure 300 ± 10 kPa; mixer control movements of 5 ± 0.1°; reliable safety-valve opening/closing detection; real-time data logging and monitoring.
• Delivery/installation/commissioning at SABS Groenkloof; training for 3 SABS staff; full system documentation (user/software manuals, SANAS calibration).
• Acceptance measures: validated temperature/pressure readings, heating/cooling rates, valve detection, and mixer control.
• Preference points: 80/20 system with specific goals as per Regulations 2022; evidence of sub-goals may be required.
