Overview

Supply and installation of a 1,140 m fence around village houses at Brooklands Plantation, including 1 vehicular sliding gate and 1 pedestrian gate, using 1.8 m high diamond-mesh fencing. Bidders should be experienced fencing/construction contractors with civil works capability, and hold CIDB 1 SQ or higher, plus requisite registrations and certifications (see Requirements).

Requirements

• CIDB grade 1 SQ or higher
• COIDA good standing
• Tax clearance and SARS e-filing status
• CSD registration (or register within 7 working days of award)
• B-BBEE: SANAS-accredited verification or EME/QSE sworn affidavit
• Fully signed SBD documents returned
• ID copies of company directors
• Proof of financial capacity (bank statement not older than 7 days or approved funding)
• Ability to meet local-empowerment and local-content targets (see Transformation and Enterprise Development)
• Compliance with safety/environment clauses and applicable standards (galvanised steel, SABS/SANS standards)
• Briefing session: None (as per RFQ)
• Documentation required for bid evaluation (administrative compliance, mandatory criteria, price and goals)

• Materials must be galvanised; adherence to SABS/CKS standards; NEC4/Contract Data implications for time and payments
