Overview

Procurement of four 70 mm high semi-circular hot mix asphalt speed humps and five transverse rumble strips for the Ingula pumped storage scheme. Bidders with civil/roadworks, asphalt laying and traffic-calming installation capabilities, site-works experience, and proficiency with Eskom’s e-tendering platform should bid. The work is on-site at Ingula Pumped Storage Scheme (Besters, Ladysmith).

Requirements

• Compliance with Eskom’s Tender Data and Standard Conditions; complete all listed Annexures and SBD forms. (see Annexures A–J and SBDs in the ITT)
• Attend a compulsory site clarification/briefing; confirm attendance by 22 June 2026. (see ITT)
• Submissions must be electronic via Eskom E-tendering; PDFs only, with per-document max 500 MB and total max 4 GB; price list in PDF. No hard copies accepted. (see ITT)
• Quality and safety prerequisites include ISO 9001 QMS considerations and safety documentation (Attachment 7 and Attachment 8). Tender evaluation will include Technical, Quality and Safety criteria. (see Attachments 6–8; Form A Cat 3)
• Tax and integrity/compliance documents are required (Tax Evaluation Questionnaire; Supplier Integrity Pact; disclosures). (see Attachments 1, 9–11)
