Overview

Procurement of four 70 mm high semi-circular hot mix asphalt speed humps and five transverse rumble strips for the Ingula Pumped Storage Scheme. Suitable for construction contractors with CIDB 2CE (or higher) or a compliant JV; mandatory CIDB/CSD/tax, local content, safety and integrity requirements; site clarification meeting is compulsory.

Requirements

• CIDB: 2CE or higher (or JV with lead partner meeting this threshold; each JV member registered; combined grading where applicable).
• CIDB registration must be achievable within 21 working days from closing.
• CSD registration and tax/compliance proofs (including SARS PIN if applicable).
• SBD returnables (at least SBD 1, SBD 6.1, SBD 6.2) and local/PPPFA preference documentation; Annexures A–J as specified.
• Safety/quality commitments: COIDA/Good Standing, PPE, Life-Saving Rules, and related Annexures B–C, 32-series procedures, etc.
• Integrity and conflict-of-interest declarations; Supplier Integrity Pact; JV documentation if applicable.
• NEC3 Short Term Contract (ECSC3) framework; pricing schedule and full technical/financial submissions.

How to Apply

• Deadline: 1 July 2026 at 10:00 (the ITT indicates closing 01 July 2026, 10:00).
• Submission: electronically via Eskom E-tendering; upload PDFs (no zip) into Technical, Commercial, Financial folders; price list in PDF.
• Documents to submit: Annexures A–J (as applicable), SBDs (1, 6.1, 6.2), CIDB proof, CIDB/VAT details, Tax Clearance, CVs/permits as required, pricing schedule, and NEC contract forms. (Refer to Attachment listings in the ITT.)
• Site briefing: Compulsory clarification meeting on 23 June 2026 at 11:00, Ingula Pump Storage; confirm attendance by 22 June 2026 14:00 with attendee details.
