Overview

RFQ for the supply and installation of a Medium Voltage (11kV) Metering Panel and related switchgear at uShaka Marine World. Bidders should be electrical contractors with MV substation experience, CIDB 1EB+, and registration on the CSD and eThekwini Supplier Portal; provide tax clearance or SARS PIN, TCC, and OEM authorization from Schneider for repairs/servicing.

Requirements

• Registration on Central Supplier Database (CSD) and eThekwini Supplier Portal
• Tax clearance or SARS PIN and TCC number
• CIDB grading 1EB or higher
• Evidence of prior MV substation switchgear/relays installations (reference/completion letters on client letterhead)
• OEM authorization letter from Schneider for repairs/servicing of their equipment
• Complete and sign MBD forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9) on company letterhead
• Valid letter of good standing; BBBEE (non-mandatory consolidated certificate for JV/consortia)
• If consortia/JV: separate TCS PIN/CSD for each party
• Public liability insurance (optional for preferred bidder) and other admin as per tender
