Procurement of supply and installation of retractable security aluminium window burglar at Irene Weather Office and aluminium single door at Polokwane Weather Office. Bidders should have relevant aluminium/security installation capability, CIDB registration, and comply with SAWS procurement rules (tax, BBBEE, CSD, POPIA).

Requirements

• CIDB grade 1 GB or higher (proof required).
• Compulsory site briefing at Irene Weather Office (25 June 2026, 11:30).
• 12 months warranty on workmanship.
• Compliance documents: SBD4, SBD6.1 (Preferential Points), pricing (Annexure G), POPIA consent (Annexure I).
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or TCS certificate; if no TCS, provide CSD number; separate TCS/PIN for consortia/subcontractors.
• BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit for points claimed.
• CIDB proof, CSD registration, and related disclosures; ability to perform within SAWS scope and premises.
• Optional: subcontracting arrangements if applicable; readiness to sign an SLA if awarded.

Phase 3 (Functional Evaluation) weighs years of experience (40), client references (20), and delivery time (40). A minimum of 70% is required to progress to Price/Specific Goals ( Annexure H).
