Overview

Supply and maintenance of a video conferencing managed services solution for the SAMRC’s video conferencing environment, including hardware maintenance and related support. Open-tender aimed at IT managed services providers with videoconferencing and SLA capabilities. Bid documents must be downloaded from the SAMRC site between 31 July and 28 August 2026, with a non-compulsory briefing on 17 August 2026 via Teams (briefing details in the attached document: (Advert-Supply and Maintenance of Video Conferencing Managed Services - converted.pdf..pdf)).

Requirements

• Must be technically competent to deliver a pro-active managed service for the video-conferencing environment.
• Must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) prior to submission; provide CSD supplier number and unique registration reference.
• Submit 1 original hard copy and 1 USB with full tender information; sealed envelope signed with bid number and bidder details; delivery to Tender Box No. 2, Parow Valley (or via SAMRC Current Tenders portal).
• Non-compliance with submission requirements may lead to disqualification.
• Responsive bids evaluated on functionality, then an 80/20 preference point system per PP Act 2000 and 2022 Regulations.
• Appointment subject to signing a Service Level Agreement; contract envisaged for 36 months, annual reviews, with possible extension up to 24 months.
• All tender progress/results posted on the SAMRC website; no regret letters issued.
• Bidder must be able to supply all items specified in the bid.
• Documents/USB submitted will not be returned.
