Overview

Supply, deliver and install a 4 MVA 11 kV/22 kV Star/Star transformer with open bushings and temperature control for Blue Crane Route Municipality; suitable for electrical contractors/engineers with CIDB 4EP or higher, registered on the CSD Supplier Database with Tax Compliant Status and possessing a local municipality Good Standing certificate.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading designation of 4EP or higher
• CSD Supplier Database registration with Tax Compliant Status
• Certificate of Good Standing from local municipality
• Compulsory briefing session on 9 September 2026 at 10:00 at Town Hall, Somerset East (late attendees >15 minutes disqualified)
• Bids to be submitted in sealed envelope, clearly marked with Bid Number T16/2026 and description; closing 22 September 2026 at 12:00; no late submissions
• Non-refundable tender deposit: R500 prior to collection of tender document
• Bids valid for 90 days
• Blue Crane Route SCM policy applies; evidence required to claim Specific Goals; no evidence = no points
• Incomplete/tender forms or data sheets lead to non-responsive bids
• Authority of Signatory (Section 4.4) must be completed
