Overview

This RFQ seeks a service provider to supply & deliver arts, craft and retail goods to the eThekwini District Municipality area. Bidders should have experience in textiles, household linens, apparel and related crafts, and be compliant with South African public-sector supplier requirements (CSD registration and SARS Tax Compliance).

Requirements

• Complete and attach SBD 1, 4 and 6.1.
• Evidence of registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) with a valid SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN if non-compliant).
• Fixed-price quotations on company letterhead; price inclusive of VAT and all disbursements.
• Evaluation uses an 80/20 price/specific-goals split; specific goals include BBBEE, Black Ownership, Black Women Ownership, Black Youth Ownership, and Disability; total specific-goals points = 20.
• Proof for specific goals may include: BBBEE Certificate or Affidavit, CSD, owner IDs, lease/metered documents, disability evidence, etc.

• Pricing schedule: Annexure A covers multiple lots (LOT9 onward) for textiles, linens, and apparel; bidders must fill unit and total prices per lot (prices valid per the schedule’s terms).
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD enrollment; SARS Tax Compliance status; VAT registration details as applicable.
