Overview

RFQ to supply and deliver electrical infrastructure for the Manguzi, Umhlabuyalingana LM area (Mcebo Bed & Breakfast). Eligible bidders are electrical goods suppliers and electrical installation contractors with relevant SABS/SANS certifications and B-BBEE compliance. Quotations are evaluated on an 80/20 price-to-goal split, with VAT-inclusive fixed pricing.

Requirements

• Signed and completed SBD 1, 4 and 6.1.
• Evidence of registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) with Tax Compliance Status; SARS PIN required if non-compliant.
• Fixed price quotations on company letterhead; price inclusive of VAT and all disbursements; all items must meet safety/technical specs.
• B-BBEE documentation: BBBEE Certificate or BBBEE Affidavit; proof may include CSD, owner IDs, lease/misc. Proof may be required to claim preference points.
• All items listed in the Section 6 Electricity price schedule must be supplied in line with the item specs and safety standards; pricing schedule is provided in the attached document.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: no later than 12:00 on 30 September 2026. Submit via email to OVF@kzngf.co.za (attention Mthokozisi Magcaba); see attached pricing schedule for required pricing format (RFQ OVF-2026-MCEBO-06-26 SECTION 6 ELECTRICITY.pdf).
• Documents to submit: completed SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1; CSD registration and SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or CSD number; BBBEE documentation; pricing schedule filled on company letterhead; signed bidder compliance declaration.
• Pricing: use the official pricing schedule (Section 6 Electricity) and ensure all prices are exclusive of VAT in the schedule (VAT is to be added as required in the tender).
• Compliance: ensure all forms and declarations (SBDs, Bidder Compliance & Formal Declaration, and SBD 6.1) are properly completed and signed; failing to do so may render the bid non-responsive.
