Overview

Supply & deliver haberdashery, fabrics & sewing materials for the Harry Gwala Municipality area. This RFQ (OVF-2026-HAR-1-8 HF & SM) invites South African suppliers of textile and sewing goods to quote. Suitable bidders are those with capabilities to provide fixed-price, VAT-inclusive quotations and who can meet mandatory supplier requirements (SBD forms, CSD registration, tax compliance, and BBBEE considerations).

Requirements

• Signed and completed SBD 1, 4 and 6.1
• Evidence of registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (MAAA) with Tax Compliance Status; SARS PIN if non-compliant
• Fixed price quotations on company letterhead; price inclusive of VAT and all disbursements
• BBBEE documentation or affidavit; CSD/ID documents; lease or municipal accounts as applicable for specific goals
• Preference points based on 80/20 price-specific goals (Total 100); specific goals include BBBEE, Black Ownership, Black Women Ownership, Black Youth Ownership, Disability
• Compliance with tax and vendor eligibility rules (e.g., no state-service personnel, etc.)
