Overview

SABS invites proposals to supply, deliver, install and commission a laser printing machine of securitized decal (stickers). Bidders should have capabilities in laser marking/labeling systems, with OEM service provision, and be able to provide 5-year maintenance, 24/7 support, and a 24-month warranty. Requirements

• Mandatory technical: laser marking source (~50 W, fully enclosed, class 1); automated foil/film labeling station; operator workstation/PC; extraction system with filter kit; coding/data module; laser-label film; tamper-evident security output; defined label size and material; on-site delivery/installation; training; ongoing consumables.
• After-sales: 5-year maintenance plan; 24/7 breakdown support with 12h emergency and 48h non-emergency response; calibration/restoration of full functionality; on-site maintenance.
• Warranty: 24 months from commissioning.
• Proposals must include: evidence of OEM approval or written OEM relationship; 3+ references for similar laser-printing projects; detailed delivery lead times; transfer of IP to SABS; NDA completion.
• Compliance docs: tax clearance, B-BBEE status, SANAS-verified/acceptable verification, CSD registration, VAT, and related SBD forms (D, F, G, I, J, K, L, M, N) as listed in Appendix.
• Evaluation thresholds: mandatory technical compliance (Stage 1); Stage 2 functionality assessment (Company Experience 40%, Delivery Lead Time 30%, OEM Approval 20%, After-Sales 10%); minimum 70% to proceed; price and specific goals under 80/20 preferential system.
