Overview

Supply, Deliver, Installation and Commission and Maintenance of a Municipal Diesel Generator at Gateway. The project is targeted at reputable service providers with CIDB 2EB or higher and experience in generator installation, maintenance, and related electrical works.

Requirements

• CIDB rating: 2EB or higher
• Central Suppliers Database (CSD) registration with proof
• MBD documents: MBD 4, 8, 6.1 & 9
• Municipal rates and services certificate showing no more than 90 days arrears for company and directors
• Lease agreements if leasing office space or director’s residence
• Affidavit if municipal account is in a relative’s name
• Certificate of Authority to sign tender/contract on company letterhead (signed)
• Tender document must be signed by an authorized person
• 80/20 preference points with 20 points for Specific Goals; 100% scores on Expertise segments
• Functionality evaluation requires: relevant generator installation/maintenance experience; qualified personnel (Diesel mechanic with trade test + 3 years, Installation Electrician with Wireman’s license + 3 years, Safety Officer with SAMTRAC/NOSA + 3 years); Construction Methodology Statement (min 2 pages) with specified sections
• Thresholds: minimum 69% per segment; bidders must score at least 50% per segment; full 100% on Expertise segments (from attached tender doc)
