Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of salon equipment for the uMgungundlovu District Municipality area. Ideal bidders are salon-equipment suppliers with proven delivery capability and compliance with South African public procurement requirements (SBD forms, CSD registration, tax clearance) and who can provide fixed-price quotes inclusive of VAT.

Requirements

• Signed and completed SBD 1, 4 and 6.1.
• Evidence of registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) with confirmation of Tax Compliance Status (SARS PIN required if Tax Status non-compliant). Separate TCS for any joint ventures or sub-contractors.
• Price must be fixed, on company letterhead, inclusive of VAT and all disbursements; pricing must be in ZAR and remain firm for the specified period.
• Pricing Schedule must be completed (Annexure A). Proof for preference points may include: BBBEE Certificate or Affidavit; CSD report; IDs of owners; lease or municipal account; disability documentation (as applicable).
• Offer validity: 90 days from closing date.

• Pre-qualifications: ensure tax and CSD requirements are met (SARS PIN or CSD number); if part of a consortium, provide separate TCS for each party.
