Supply, Delivery and Fitting of Windows, Tiles, Dry Wall and External Signage at Roodeplaat Herbarium and Genebank. Bidders in building fit-out, glazing, tiling, dry-wall and signage with CIDB 2GB+ and related certifications should consider responding.

Requirements

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration with full CSD report and registration number.
• CIDB registration of 2GB or higher (to be submitted with the bid).
• Tax compliance pin; valid B-BBEE status or Sworn Affidavit.
• Completed and signed Standard Bidding Documents (SBD 4 and SBD 6.1).
• One reference letter for similar work not older than six months (Annexure A).
• Site inspection/briefing compulsory; dimensions and quantities must be verified on site (and prior to manufacturing).
• All materials must be new, compliant with SANS, National Building Regulations, and manufacturer specs; OHSA compliance.
• Contractor to provide labour, supervision, tools, equipment, transport, and all resources; protect existing finishes; remove waste; maintain safe site.
• Works to be measured, installed, tested/commissioned where applicable, with 12-month workmanship warranty; manufacturer warranties where applicable.
• Pricing inclusive of VAT and delivery; procurement subject to 80/20 (price-specific goals) and specific goals scoring; due diligence and price benchmarking reserved by ARC.
• Compliance with National Treasury Conditions and ARC Code of Conduct; signs and SBDs must accompany quotation (non-compliance may lead to disqualification).

How to Apply

• Briefing/Site Inspection: compulsory briefing on 07 July 2026 at 11:30 at KwaMhlanga / Moloto Road, Roodeplaat. Bring evidence of site inspection.
• Submission deadline: 13 July 2026 at 14:00. Late submissions will not be considered.
• Submission method: email your quotation to MotauB@arc.agric.za (as directed in the RFQ).
• Documents to submit (as per Annexure A and SBD requirements):
  • Completed SBD 4 and SBD 6.1; SBDs signed and on official letterhead.
  • CIDB registration 2GB or higher.
  • Tax compliance status pin; B-BBEE status or Sworn Affidavit.
  • CSD registration details (include registration number and full CSD report).
  • One reference letter for similar work (not older than six months).
  • Site inspection evidence and any other documents requested in the TOR.
• Special conditions to observe:
  • All measurements verified on-site; dimensions provided as guidance only.
  • All work to comply with OHSA and relevant regulations; 12-month workmanship warranty.
  • Quotation must indicate delivery/completion timeframe; ARC reserves right to benchmark prices and accept/reject terms.
  • Payment after inspection/acceptance by ARC; supplier to provide required warranties.
