Overview

Supply of Turf Grounds Stadium Equipment for Moses Mabhida Stadium, including delivery and installation. Bidders should be capable suppliers of sports/stadium equipment, including manufacturers, accredited distributors or agents, with experience delivering similar contracts and able to meet occupational health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and on the eThekwini supplier portal; provide respective numbers.
• Tax compliance: Tax Compliance Status PIN or Tax Clearance Certificate; VAT status as applicable.
• Municipal fees status: Declaration of Municipal Fees (or acknowledged debt agreement) completed.
• Occupational Health & Safety: signed declaration and adherence to OHS Act requirements; health and safety plan if requested.
• Returnable documents: MBD 4, MBD 5 (if applicable), MBD 6.1, MBD 8, MBD 9; Authority of Signatory; Official Tender Form; any JV agreements if applicable.
• Mandatory project experience: minimum 2 projects in supplying related or similar sports equipment (supported by client reference letters) (SCT 14.1).
• Sub-contracting details if not fully in-house.
• Pricing must align with the Official Tender Form; unit prices for the contract duration; CSD/MBD/SSP documentation to be valid at submission.

How to Apply

• Obtain tender documents from the National Treasury eTenders site or Durban website; print the electronic copy.
• Submit a hard copy to the Tender Box, Ground Floor Foyer, 166 KE Masinga Road, Durban, and an electronic copy via the ESP JDE system. Hard copy submission is the ruling version.
