Overview

This RFQ covers the supply, delivery and installation of CCTV signage at various Johannesburg Water sites (WWTW, depots, towers and reservoirs). Bidders with signage fabrication/installation capability, steel mounting frames, UV full-colour printing and related field experience should consider bidding. Key prerequisites include registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), a valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, tax clearance, and compliance with the PPPFA/ GCC.

Requirements

• Complete the BOQ/Specification and attach datasheets, reference letters, proof of certification/accreditation as applicable.
• Submissions must be on PDF, on company letterhead; no RFQ from persons in the state; JV agreements if applicable.
• Must be registered on CSD and provide a valid tax clearance (SARS PIN) and BBBEE documentation.
• Municipal rates/charges: not older than 3 months; must be in good standing.
• Returnable forms: MBD4 (Declaration of Interest), MBD6.1 (Preference Points), MBD8 (Past SCM practices), MBD9 (Certificate of Independent Bid Determination).
• Pricing must be on the Pricing Schedule – Firm Prices (MBD 3.1) and include all taxes; separate schedules if multiple delivery points.
• Compliance with POPIA/privacy provisions and contract terms; bid must avoid disqualifications for non-performance or tender defaulters.
• PPPFA preference scoring: 80/20 or 90/10, with specific goals as applicable (proof documentation required).
