Overview

Supply, delivery, and installation of engineered stone tabletops for steel tables in the Technicians Office at Irene Weather Office. Bidders with experience in engineered stone tops, steel-framed furniture, and on-site installation (including sink cutouts and under-mount sinks) should bid. Must meet tax, supplier database, and BBBEE requirements and be able to deliver within the R500 000 ceiling.

Requirements

• Completed Annexure A and all SBDs (SBD 3.3, SBD 4, SBD 6.1); POPIA notice (Annexure I) and POPIA consent.
• CSD registration or SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN/TCS) and proof of tax compliance; separate TCS for joint ventures/subcontractors.
• BBBEE status or sworn affidavit; compliance with the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022 (80/20) for points.
• Evidence of registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and related details.
• Photographic samples or catalogues for the engineered stone and sink/mixer components (mandatory technical evidence).
• Operational premises/infrastructure and any relevant accreditation; potential due diligence/site visit prior to award.
• Agreement to conclude an SLA with SAWS and deliver a measured performance framework.
• Scope compliance: 20-30 mm thick engineered stone tabletops, colour Macadamia, with sink cutouts and under-mount sink; local product preference.
• Delivery to and acceptance at the Irene Weather Office; 2-year warranty on work and materials.

• The SAWS will require an SLA post-award; the bid may be evaluated in three phases: SCM compliance, technical/functional, then price and specific goals (Annexure H).
