Overview

Supply, delivery and installation of Laboratory Scientific Refrigerator (Chemistry & Microbiology) for Vaal Central Water. This RFQ targets suppliers capable of providing chemistry and microbiology laboratory refrigerators (including a combined refrigerator/freezer), with delivery to Vaal Central Water and installation. Eligible bidders should meet standard public-procurement requirements (SBD forms, GCC compliance) and provide relevant certifications (CIDB, SARS TCS, BBBEE) as part of their bid.

Requirements

• Fully completed and signed Standard Bidding Documents (SBD 1, SBD 3.1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1)
• Tax Compliance Status (SARS PIN) or a valid Tax Compliance Status proof; CIDB status active (where applicable)
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) number if no TCS PIN; Copy of ID; BBBEE certificate or BBBEE Sworn Affidavit
• Evidence of GCC compliance and completion of the Pricing Schedule (firm prices, inclusive of taxes, 60-day validity)
• Bid must be on official forms and delivered with required documentation as specified in the RFQ

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 06 August 2026 by 12:00.
• Submission method: electronic submission to procurement@vcwater.co.za or hand/post to 2 Mzuzu Street, Pellissier, Bloemfontein 9301; bid box details provided in the RFQ.
• Documents to submit: completed SBD forms (1, 3.1, 4, 6.1), Pricing Schedule (SBD 3.1), Tax/CIDB/CSD/B-BBEE documents, and any other forms requested (SBD7 contract if successful).
• Pre-qualifications: Tax PIN (and other tax), CIDB status, and company authority proof; one-folder bid where required.
• Briefing: onsite briefing address is 02 Mzuzu Street, Pellissier, Bloemfontein; attendance is not mandatory per the RFQ (briefing details in the documents).
