Overview

Bergrivier Municipality invites quotations for the supply, delivery and installation of playpark equipment to Bergrivier Municipality from date of appointment until 30 June 2027. The work covers manufactured steel play equipment (swing, hexagon swing, Alpha jungle gym, Play Challenger, Super Satellite) installed to specified standards, with strict adherence to safety standards (SANS 51176) and site-specific requirements. Suitable bidders are manufacturers or suppliers with proven steel playground experience, relevant certifications, and the ability to provide complete installation, commissioning and warranty support.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing and installation of steel play-park equipment; two reference letters dated within last 5 years.
• Compliance documents: engineer-certified completion certificate (COC) on completion; conformity to SANS 51176; B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; tax clearance or TCS PIN; Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration (MAAA number).
• Bidding forms and contracts: complete MBD1, MBD3.2 pricing, MBD4 declaration of interest, MBD6.1, MBD7.1 contract, MBD8, MBD9, MBD10, GCC; signed in black ink on original bid documents.
• Pricing: fixed prices including VAT; 120-day bid validity; include pricing for a provisional sum (R30,000 per order) and a Certificate of Completion cost; prices may be adjusted to fit budget.
• Other: no bids from persons in the state service;Locality considerations and PPPFA scoring (80/20 or 90/10), BBBEE points, and CSD/TCS compliance.
