Overview

Supply, Delivery and Installation of renewable green energy powered borehole water pumping system. The ARC invites bids from suppliers with renewable energy, solar PV, borehole pumping and water-quality testing capabilities to supply and install a solar-powered borehole system for ARC Institute, including tests, commissioning and handover.

Requirements

• Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and include the CSD registration number and full CSD report with the bid (RFQ VIM01REQ007095.pdf).
• Ability to claim specific goals for up to 20 points (80/20 system, or 90/10 if applicable) with required proof (PFMA/PPF Regulations; Annexure SBD forms).
• Complete and sign Standard Bidding Documents (SBD) and submit with the bid (RFQ VIM01REQ007095.pdf).
• Comprehensive data sheets for solar modules/panels; official manufacturer PDFs; compliance with SANS/IEC/SABS standards; include 12-year product and 25-year performance warranties (Specification-Annexure A.pdf).
• Compulsory site briefing attendance on 6 August 2026 at The Highgate Hotel; must be recorded as part of submission (RFQ VIM01REQ007095.pdf).
• All prices must be in Rand, VAT-inclusive, delivered to ARC; quotations valid for 120 days (metadata and RFQ text).
• Warranty/CoC requirements and ability to provide installation workmanship warranty; ARC may conduct due diligence and benchmark prices (RFQ VIM01REQ007095.pdf).
