Overview

The procurement is for the supply, delivery and installation of televisions, DSTV decoders and TV wall mounts for the Department of Water and Sanitation. Vendors with electronics retail/installation capability should consider bidding; bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and comply with SARS/VAT requirements, and must submit the standard bid documents.

Requirements

• CSD registration and SARS/VAT compliance
• Completion and signing of SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1; SBD 6.2 if applicable
• Quotations inclusive of VAT for VAT vendors and correct calculations; tax status on CSD compliant with SARS
• Brand name and model must be specified for branded items
• Quotations valid for 60 days; delivery period indicated; late submissions not considered
• Evaluation will follow the 80/20 or 90/10 preference system with price and specific goals; SBD 6.1 points for specific goals (e.g., women, disability, youth, location, B-BBEE status) may apply
