Overview

Supply, delivery and installation of washing machines, tumble dryers, curtains, curtain rails and blinds for University of Johannesburg residences. This is an open, multi-campus tender; bidding is open to suppliers of bulk residential laundry equipment and window coverings. Submissions must be made by the deadline; there are compulsory onsite briefings and a staged evaluation process.

Requirements

• Mandatory on-site briefings: 20 Oct 2026 and 21 Oct 2026 (APK Campus Residence Office).
• Compliance documents: Tender Document, Form of Tender, COIDA/RMA/FEM certificate, Valid SARS pin, Scope of Work/BoQ.
• Returnables: 3 years financial statements; signed UJ Supply Agreement; B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; certified IDs of directors; Letter of Resolution; stamped bank confirmation (not older than 3 months); company profile; authorization resolution.
• Contract scope: supply, delivery, installation, removal of packaging; 3-year commercial warranty; COC after installation; extended warranty option; 3-year maintenance with option to extend 2 years; list of spares; supplier to provide brochures/specifications. • B-BBEE: Stage 3 evaluation; 20% weight for B-BBEE, 80% for price; levels 1–8 and related credits apply (see B-BBEE DOCUMENT RFP UJ 71/2026.pdf).
