Overview

• Supply, delivery and off-loading of medium voltage and low voltage circuit breakers for Lesedi Local Municipality on an as-and-when-required basis for a period of three years. Suitable bidders are electrical equipment suppliers with MV/LV circuit breakers in stock and the capability to deliver on an ad-hoc basis.

Requirements

• Bids must achieve at least 70 points for functionality to proceed to price evaluation.
• Evaluation uses an 80/20 split: price 80 points, specific goals 20 points.
• Bidder must be in order with SARS/tax obligations and not in arrears on municipal rates or service charges.
• Bidder must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Bids must be fully endorsed and comprehensively completed; bids in pencil are invalid.
• Preference will be given to bidders demonstrating empowerment credentials.
• The LLM reserves the right to negotiate rates and to award other than the lowest-priced proposal.
