Overview

Supply, delivery and off-loading of office chairs for City of Mbombela. Bidders should be capable office furniture suppliers with appropriate certifications (CSD registration, SARS Tax Compliance, B-BBEE if applicable) and compliance with municipal procurement requirements. The contract covers a firm quantity of 40 executive swivel chairs (black) with specified build and finishes.

Requirements

• Valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) or PIN and SARS status; ensure inclusion with bid (or via e-Filing).
• Full Central Supplier Database (CSD) report (not older than 30 days).
• Certified company registration documents and copies of directors’ IDs; where applicable, lease or proof of municipal rates for business premises; directors’ municipal compliance.
• B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (EMEs may sw orn affidavit); JV/consortium documentation if relevant.
• Proof of municipal rates for the business and all active directors; lease agreements where applicable.
• Compliance declarations: Declaration of Interest, SCM practices, and Certificate of Independent Bid Determination.
• If applicable, public liability insurance and COIDA where required; ensure MBD forms are completed and signed.
• Bid prices must be firm and include delivery and assembly; delivery timeframe specified in specifications.

How to Apply

• Download the bid documents from the City of Mbombela/etenders portals once available (from 17 September 2026); review Special Conditions (see COM119/2026 SUPPLY DELIVERY AND OFF-LOADING OF OFFICE CHAIRS FOR CITY OF MBOMBELA.pdf).
• Submit a sealed bid to the MBOMBELA CIVIC CENTRE tender box at 1 Nel Street, Mbombela 1200, before 11:00 on 25 September 2026; late or non-delivery will be rejected (no electronic submissions per Special Conditions).
• Include: MBD1 (Part A/B), MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD7.1, MBD8, MBD9, Pricing Schedule, Specifications, and all mandatory attachments (TCS, CSD full report, B-BBEE documentation, proof of municipal rates, JV agreements if any, authority to sign, etc.).
• Ensure all forms are fully completed, signed by authorized signatories, and bound in the tender envelope as required.
