Overview

This tender seeks the supply, delivery and decanting/offloading of: section 1 flocculant and section 2 granulate chemicals, used in drinking water treatment for Strandfontein West WTW and Philippi South, City of Cape Town. Suitable bidders are chemical suppliers/distributors with capacity to supply drinking-water treatment chemicals, adherence to health-and-safety and quality standards, and ability to operate under City of Cape Town SCM rules.

Requirements

• Compliance with the City of Cape Town SCM Policy and tender conditions.
• Provide Product Information Sheets and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all chemicals tendered (to be appended to Annexure F.14).
• Tax compliance evidence (SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN) and CSD registration where applicable.
• Registration on the CCT Supplier Database (each JV party if a joint venture) and on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Attendance at compulsory clarification meeting and site/clarification briefings as required.
• Submission of all required returnable documents (e.g., Details of Tenderer, Certificate of Authority for Partnerships/JVs, Declarations of Interest/Conflict of Interest, Certificate of Independent Bid Determination, etc.).
• Health and Safety considerations; provision of a Health and Safety Plan if requested.
• Compliance with data protection and procurement rules (POPIA, PAJA-related processes as applicable).
