Overview

Supply, delivery and offloading of consumables for a period of three years to Kouga Local Municipality. This is an Open Tender covering multiple consumable categories (locksets, paint tools, batteries, paper products, herbicides, automotive supplies, cleaning products, gardening tools, etc.) and is open to suppliers with capacity to service a municipal store network. Submission is electronic or via the tender box; a compulsory briefing session is scheduled; the contract uses an 80/20 price–specific-goals evaluation and may appoint more than one contractor.

Requirements

• Valid Tax Compliance Status PIN (SARS) for all entities; each JV participant must have/PIN or CSD number if no TCS.
• National Treasury Central Database Summary Report and CSD registration; certified IDs; municipal billing clearance.
• Audited financial statements for the last 3 years (where applicable); Project Implementation Plan (if applicable).
• Signed mandatory bidding documents; BBBEE affidavit/certification to claim points.
• Compliance with GCC and any Special Conditions; no correction fluid allowed; all pages signed in ink.
• Attendance at the compulsory virtual clarification session (07 Aug 2026, 10:00).

How to Apply

• Attend the compulsory virtual clarification on 07 August 2026 at 10:00 via Teams (link in tender notice).
• Download the tender documents from the E-Tender portal or Kouga website; print all pages; complete forms in ink.
• Submit the electronic copy on USB/SD Card/CD and an ORIGINAL hard copy to the Tender Box at 16 Woltemade Street, Jeffreys Bay (Room 122) by the closing time.
• Complete and submit documents including Pricing Schedule, Form of Offer & Acceptance, Declaration of Interest, SCM Practices, BBBEE, Tax Pin/CSD, and Schedule of Previous Work.
• Ensure adherence to 90-day tender validity; understand the 80/20 evaluation (80 price, 20 specific goals) and that the Council may appoint more than one contractor.
