Overview

Supply, delivery and refurbishment of valves for a period of three (03) years contract on an as and when required basis for Matla Power Station. Target bidders include valve manufacturers, distributors and refurbishment/service providers capable of supplying, refurbishing and delivering valves in a power-station maintenance context, with emphasis on local content, environmental management (EMS ISO 14001) and applicable Eskom tender compliance.

Requirements

• Eligibility and compliance: meet Eskom’s Standard Conditions of Tender; not restricted or on tender defaulters lists; no conflicts of interest.
• Local content: valves designated sector require minimum local content of 70%. Provide Local Content Declaration and Annex C/D/E as applicable. • Documentation and pre-qualifications: Submit required SBD forms and returnables (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 6.2; Annexure A Integrity Declaration; Supplier Integrity Pact; Tax questionnaires where applicable).
• Environmental: commit to ISO 14001 EMS; provide Environmental Management System documentation and related forms (Contractors Commitment and Indemnity Letter; Environmental Contractors Assessment Form).
• Tender process: electronic submission via Eskom E-tendering; no hard copies; pricing to be provided in PDF and Excel; maintain submission status; adhere to stated deadlines and briefing/clarification rules.
• Evaluation: price (80/90 or 90-point scale) and specific goals (10/20 points per PPPFA); functionality requirements apply; contract will be awarded to highest-scoring compliant tender.
