Overview

Procurement: supply, delivery and replacement of complete 150L electric geyser and trays. The contract covers four geysers with trays, including isolators, piping, electrical connections, labour, transport, a 6-month guarantee, and a safety file, issued by Johannesburg Water for the City of Johannesburg. CIDB grade Gb1+ is required.

Requirements

• CIDB Gb1 or higher; must meet compulsory SHE and safety requirements.
• Full completion of the BOQ/specification; compulsory site briefing attendance.
• Attach datasheet, reference letters, proof of certification/accreditation, and functionality evidence.
• Quotation on company letterhead; PDF only; no state staff involvement; no prior blacklisting.
• Submit Joint Venture agreement if applicable; supply chain declarations (MBD forms 4, 8, 9, 6.1) and CSD registration proof.
• Tax clearance certificate, municipal rates statement not older than 90 days, lease/municipal account if applicable.
• 60-day bid validity; firm pricing (no rate-based or volatile pricing); inclusive of taxes.
• Compliance with PPPFA 2022: 80/20 price vs specific goals (20 points) and CIDB requirement.

• Submission via the E-tender Portal: https://www.etenders.gov.za/; closing date 06 August 2026 at 16:00; bid valid for 60 days.
• Compulsory briefing: 31 July 2026 at 11:30 at Northern Wastewater Treatment Plant. Site briefing attendees must wear safety shoes and reflective jackets.
• Documents to submit: MBD 4, MBD 8, MBD 9, MBD 6.1; BBBEE certificate or affidavit; Tax Clearance; CSD supplier number; proof of municipal rates; company registration documents with directors’ IDs; datasheets and references; completed BOQ/spec.
• Pre-qualification: CIDB Gb1+; ensure CIDB and safety requirements are in place prior to PO issuance.
