SUPPLY, DELIVERY, COMMISSIONING AND TRAINING FOR AN INDUCTIVELY COUPLED PLASMA-OPTICAL EMISSION SPECTROMETER (ICPOES) FOR ESKOM RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT FOR THE PERIOD OF SIX (6) MONTHS.

Overview

Supply, delivery, commissioning and training for an Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometer (ICPOES) for Eskom Research and Development for six months. Suitable for ICP-OES vendors and instrument integrators with capability in scientific instrumentation, on-site commissioning and operator training; open tender with non-compulsory clarification meeting.

Requirements

• Eligibility: meet Tender Data criteria; not restricted to do business with Eskom/State-Owned; not submit more than one tender; joint ventures must state joint and several liability; no conflicts of interest; 100% subcontracting not allowed.
• Functionality (threshold 75%): instrument specifications (25), warranty/support (25), supplier experience (25), training program (15), project timeline (10).
• Tender returnables: complete tender with commercial, financial, technical information; submit mandatory documents by deadlines; pricing in PDF (and Excel for the price list); no hard copies; soft copies via Eskom e-tendering; pricing schedule/BOQ in PDF and Excel.
• Compliance: adhere to Eskom Standard Conditions of Tender; follow SBDs and Annexures; integrity and compliance forms as listed (Annexures A–J, Supplier Integrity Pact, E-tendering manuals).
• Evaluation: prices evaluated VAT-inclusive, arithmetical checks, nets, and consideration of discounts; unconditional discounts considered, conditional not.
