Overview

Procurement of supply, delivery, implementation, maintenance and support of data replication / disaster recovery for Sakhisizwe Local Municipality for a period of three years. The project targets ICT service providers with backup/DR capabilities, including off-site DR, data-center partnerships in South Africa, and relevant vendor certifications (e.g., Veeam, Cibecs).

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in similar backup, replication and off-site DR projects over the past five years, with reference letters.
• Valid certifications: ICT equipment reseller authorization; Cibecs reseller / endpoint backup certificate; Veeam certification or distributor letter.
• DR site compliance with a South Africa-based data center and a compliant DR site (e.g., ISO 27001 or equivalent) and a local partnership.
• Pre-qualification threshold: minimum of 70 points out of 100 to proceed to financial evaluation.
• Compliance documents (attach with bid): latest CSD report (not older than 3 months); SARS Tax Compliance PIN/Certificate; full MBD1–MBD9 forms; original I.D. copies of directors; municipal billing clearance or equivalent; JV agreements if any.
• BBBEE documentation: BBBEE status or sworn affidavit; proof as required for preference points.
