Overview

Procurement of four pressure-certified hydrogen storage vessels, including supply, delivery, installation and commissioning for SAWS sites. Bidders should be capable construction entities with CIDB grade 4 ME or higher and proven hydrogen storage vessel installation experience, conforming to SAWS safety and commissioning standards. The process includes a compulsory briefing (Annexure A) and online bid submission via eTenders.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 4 ME or higher. (Annexure H)
• Experience: supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of hydrogen storage vessels at multiple sites. (Annexure H)
• Site scope: Upington (1), De Aar (1), Springbok (2). (Annexure H)
• Compliance: adherence to GCC/SCC, ability to enter SLA, due diligence and supplier performance management requirements. (Annexure A)
• Certifications: OEM accreditation verification where required; supplier prereqs including safety, installation and commissioning capabilities. (Annexure A)
• Tax/Regulatory: SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) Pin or CSD number; POPIA consent where applicable. (Annexure A)
• Preference claims: BBEEE status and related documentation. (Annexure F)
• Subcontracting/Joint Venture: evidence of teaming arrangements if applicable. (Annexure A)
• Other: pre-bid/site visits may be conducted; bid price must be fixed per conditions. (Annexure A)
