Overview

Procurement of virtual laboratory (VR) equipment for simulation-based TVET training, including installation and commissioning. The ICT Authority in Kenya invites bids from eligible suppliers to supply, deliver, install and commission 450 VR headsets, 60 workstations, 30 interactive displays, 30 charging/storage units, 60 UPS units, 1 device management software, and 450 sanitization kits for TVET institutions (delivery site per Annex 1). The project is World Bank‑financed.

Requirements

• Bid security of Kes 2,800,000 (or equivalent) and bid validity as per the BDS. (Tender Document)
• Evidence of eligibility and conformity of goods; country of origin declarations; compliance with Schedule of Requirements (Section VII). (Tender Document)
• Manufacturer’s authorization if the bidder does not manufacture the goods; or local representation for maintenance. (Tender Document)
• If bidding as a Joint Venture, joint and several liability; designate a representative; submit Joint Venture Agreement or letter of intent. (Tender Document)
• No conflict of interest; compliance with Bank anti-corruption guidelines and sanctions; right for the Bank to inspect accounts. (Tender Document)
• Beneficial ownership disclosure and SEA/SH prevention and response obligations verified before award for the successful bidder and proposed subcontractors. (Tender Document)
