GMT001/26-27 – Supply, Delivery, Installation and Repairs of Outdoor Exercise Equipment, Street Furniture and Playpark Equipment, As and When Required, for a Period of Three Years from Date of Appointment. George Municipality invites bids for a combined goods/services contract covering supply, delivery, installation and repairs of outdoor exercise equipment, street furniture and playpark equipment. Bidders must be CIDB registered with a contractor grading designation of 2SL or higher, attend a compulsory information session, and meet CIDB/George procurement requirements. Compliance may include CSD registration and tax-related pre-qualifications.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading designation 2SL or higher.
• Register for and attend the compulsory information session (deadline to register by 01 Oct 2026; session 02 Oct 2026).
• Submit valid original or certified B-BBEE certificate (as applicable to tender evaluation).
• Register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) if awarded.
• Submit Tax Compliance Status (TCS PIN) information with the tender.
• Comply with CIDB Standard for Uniformity and George Municipality procurement and health/safety requirements.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 26 October 2026 at 12:00 (closing time). (see Part T1/T1.1; Part T1.2)
• Submission method: sealed tender in the George Municipality tender box (Fifth Floor, Civic Centre, York Street, George); no post, fax or email submissions.
• Documents to complete/submit: pricing data (Pricing Schedules), returnable documents, Form of Offer and Acceptance, CIDB registration, B-BBEE certificate, CSD registration, TCS PIN, and other contract schedules.
• Required registrations/pre-qualifications: CIDB 2SL+; Central Supplier Database (CSD); tax compliance (TCS PIN).
• Briefing session: compulsory information session on 02 Oct 2026 (10:00) via Microsoft Teams; register by 01 Oct 2026 10:00 with mcjacobs@george.gov.za to receive an invite.
