Requirements

• CIDB grading: 1ME or higher.
• Registration: Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Tax compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status / PIN (or evidence if foreign).
• BBBEE: verified certificate or sworn affidavit for preferential points.
• OHSA: valid Good Standing letter.
• Tender documents: complete set required; sealed envelope; clearly marked with tender number.
• Evaluation: 80/20 price vs BBBEE and locality points.
• Compulsory information session: virtual briefing on 02 Sept 2026 (load shedding provisions noted). Attendance required or non-compliant.
• Validity: bids valid for 180 days after closing.
• Documents to submit with bid: MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9, MBD10, Form of Offer, Pricing Schedule, Declaration, Indemnity, Authority to Sign, CIDB certificate, etc.
