Open to qualified manufacturers and equipment suppliers with dairy-processing capabilities and after-sales support, including installation, commissioning, testing and training expertise.

Requirements

• Open Tender; Tender Security ofKES 4,500,000 from a reputable financial institution.
• Compliance with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act; sign Certificate of Independent Tender Determination; no debarment; no corrupt practices.
• Tax clearance certificate; evidence of tax obligations.
• Foreign bidders: source at least 40% of inputs from national suppliers (with documentary evidence).
• Joint venture allowed; must nominate a representative; joint venture agreement or Form of Intent required.
• Complete and submit Form of Tender and Price Schedules; provide conformity, eligibility and subcontractor information.
• English language; pages serialized; bid documents to be tape-bound (not spiral).
• Site visit/pre-tender meeting as per the Tender Data Sheet; pre-arranged visits may be required.
• Tender validity and contract terms will follow the tender documents.
