Overview

Supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of a fire detection and gas suppression system extension for Saldanha Bay Municipality. Bidders should have proven capability in fire detection and gas suppression systems design, supply, installation and commissioning, plus documented experience (two references in the last 3 years). They must be tax compliant (SARS), registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), and capable of complying with the 80/20 Preferential Points system (B-BBEE + Locality). Requirements

• Compulsory clarification briefing: 29 July 2026, 12:00, 07 Floryn Street, Vredenburg.
• Tender deposit: R306.00; collection from SBM, proof required.
• Submission: sealed envelope, tender box, Ground Floor Investment Centre, 15 Main Road, Vredenburg; closing 14 August 2026 at 12:00.
• Documents to submit: official SBM bid documents; MBD forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9); price schedule; supporting documents; CSD tax status; B-BBEE certificate or affidavit; tax clearance; municipal accounts; lease/affidavits for locality; signed authorizations.
• Experience: two references for fire detection and gas suppression system installation/commissioning (within last 3 years).
• Compliance: SARS tax clearance or proof of tax status; VAT registration if contract value requires; CSD registration number.
• Locality: proof of locality within SBM boundaries to claim locality points; appropriate documentation if owner/not owner of premises.
• Other: adherence to GCC/SCC; no alterations; original black-ink submissions; bid validity of at least 90 days.
