SUPPLY, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING OF ASSORTED SPECIALISED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT

Overview

Supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of assorted specialised medical equipment. Kenyatta National Hospital invites open tender KNH/T/81/2026-2027 for procurement of hospital equipment. Eligible bidders include medical equipment suppliers/manufacturers with installation, testing, commissioning, training and after-sales support capabilities, and who can comply with Kenyan regulatory, tax and origin rules as per the ITT.

Requirements

• Eligibility and qualification evidence (per ITT 16)
• Manufacturer's Authorization if not the goods’ manufacturer; Agent representation in Kenya if needed
• Kenyan Tax Clearance Certificate
• Compliance with anti-corruption and independence declarations (Certificate of Independent Tender Determination; related declarations)
• JV requirements: joint and several liability; Joint Venture Agreement or LOI if applicable
• No conflict of interest; no involvement by public officers
• Conformity to technical specs in Section VII; country of origin declarations; evidence of spare parts and maintenance capability
• Local origin rules: certain items must be sourced from Kenya with no substitutions (e.g., some equipment and goods listed in ITT 3.9/4)
• Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration; validity to cover tender period
• All documents as required by the Tender Documents (Form of Tender, Price Schedules, etc.)

• Deadline: 11 November 2026; times in notices vary (08:00 per metadata; 10:00 per document); verify in the TDS
• Submission method: single sealed physical envelope to the Procuring Entity; electronic submission only if specified in the TDS
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender; Price Schedules; Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration; Manufacturer's Authorization (if applicable); JV documents (if applicable); evidence of eligibility and qualifications; tax clearance; origin declarations; conformity documentation; any other documents required in the TDS (Section IV)
