Overview

This open tender seeks the supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning and training of medical equipment for maternity units in Level 2 and Level 3 health facilities in Kitui County. Requirements

• Valid incorporation/registration and current tax compliance certificate or exemption from KRA.
• Valid business permit/licenses; complete Form of Tender, Confidential Business Questionnaire, Certificate of Independent Tender Determination, Self-Declaration, and Conflict of Interest declarations.
• Manufacturer’s authorization if the Tenderer does not manufacture the goods; Kenyan representation/agent if applicable.
• Not debarred by PPRA; no conflicts of interest; JV members jointly liable; single tender per firm (except permitted alternatives).
• Tender security or tender securing declaration; if successful, 5% performance security (except AGPO firms); 0.03% Capacity Building Levy on total amount.
• Goods eligibility and origin: country of origin declarations; origin conformance to Schedule of Requirements; some items must be sourced from Kenya.
• Evidence of one-year warranty and aftersales service for machines.
• Proper pagination/serialization of bid documents; AGPO certification where applicable.
