Overview

KNH invites bids for the supply, delivery, installation, testing, training and commissioning of two kitchen lifts. Open tender; bidders should have capabilities in plant and installation services (lift/elevator works) including electrical and commissioning, with site visit and documentation requirements as specified.

Requirements

• Eligibility and integrity: comply with anti-corruption, non-collusion, independent tender determination, and allow entity/account audits (as per ITT 3–4).
• Tender security: provide Tender Security or Tender Securing Declaration; JV bids must use a joint venture arrangement if applicable.
• Ownership and local content: provide ownership/control disclosures; foreign bidders must source at least 40% of contract inputs from Kenyan suppliers; tax clearance required for Kenyan bidders.
• Conformity and qualifications: documentary evidence that plant and installation services meet requirements; list proposed subcontractors and manufacturers; ensure no conflicts of interest.

How to Apply

• Site visit: 17 September 2026, 10:30–12:30 (document SUPPLY, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION, TESTING, TRAINING & COMMISSIONING OF TWO (2) KITCHEN LIFTS).
• Clarifications: submit in writing by 18 September 2026.
• Documents and access: tender documents free to download from KNH or tenders.go.ke; hard copies available for a fee (Kshs 1,000) via Mpesa. Email name/contact details to procurement@knh.or.ke and info@pleng.net for records.
• Submission: by 29 September 2026 at 10:00 hrs; in a sealed envelope to the KNH Tender Box (Administration Block, Ground Floor, Supply Chain Management entrance).
• Required contents: Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Tender Security or Declaration, Joint Venture agreements if applicable, evidence of eligibility/qualifications, conformity declarations, and subcontractor details (as outlined in the tender forms).
