Supply and delivery of assorted tyres for heavy commercial vehicles. Requirements

• Eligibility and integrity: no public officer disqualifications, no conflicts of interest, compliance with corruption/competition laws; JV members jointly liable; debarment checks.
• Tender security: KSh 500,000, valid for 140 days from tender opening.
• Documentation: Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Tender Security or Securing Declaration, Joint Venture Agreement if applicable, Manufacturer’s Authorization if required, tax clearance (Kenya), proof of eligibility for goods.
• Goods conformity: evidence that tyres meet the technical specifications; origin declarations; list of spare parts and after-sales support.
• Additional: pre-qualification/clarifications handled in writing; potential pre-tender briefing (not guaranteed).

How to Apply

• Obtain documents: electronically from the county website or tenders.go.ke (free) (see Invitation text).
• Submission: hard-copy tenders in sealed envelopes, delivered to the Supply Chain Management offices, City Hall, 4th Floor, Nairobi; deadline 29 June 2026 at 11:00 A.M; electronic submissions not permitted (document: Section I).
• Enclosure packaging: separate envelopes for ORIGINAL, COPIES; include any alternative tender if permitted.
• Content to submit: Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Tender Security or Declaration, Manufacturer’s Authorization if needed, JV agreement if applicable, tax clearance, eligibility and conformity documents.
• Clarifications and briefing: questions in writing before deadline; pre-tender conference if specified in the TDS; minutes published to all bidders.
