Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of HDPE coupling and adaptor components (032mm and 050mm PN16) meeting SANS ISO 17885 for Johannesburg Water. Suitable bidders include HDPE fittings manufacturers or distributors who can supply manufacturer datasheets and brand names, and meet the mandatory datasheet condition.

Requirements

• Full completion of BOQ/specification; attachment of datasheet, reference letters, proof of certification/accreditation; meeting functionality requirements.
• Attend compulsory site briefing (where applicable); no RFQ from those in state service; not blacklisted.
• All quotes on company letterhead and submitted as PDFs; include Joint Venture agreements if applicable.
• Valid Tax Clearance; BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; CSD registration / supplier number; lease agreement or municipal account not older than 3 months and not in arrears beyond 90 days.
• Complete MBD forms: Declaration of Interest (MBD 4), Past SCM Practices (MBD 8), Independent Bid Determination (MBD 9), Preference Points (MBD 6.1).
• Provide datasheets for all items; brand names required; samples may be requested for unfamiliar items.
• Compliance with PPPFA 2022 preference goals: SMME 51%+ black-owned qualifies for specific points; price-based evaluation (80/20 or 90/10, see below).
